Dr. Clay A. Kahler,  Pastor 

Pastor Kahler has served as our Senior Pastor since 2003. He is a teacher, preacher and theology professor. Dr. Kahler has a Bachelor of Arts, two Masters Degrees, and a Ph.D. in Theology and Expository Preaching. He has written four books and numerous articles. He also serves as President and Professor for the Midwest College of Biblical Studies.

Danielle Lopez, Praise Team Director

As Praise Team Director, Danielle works hand in hand with Sherry Allen. She handles the praise music and she ensures our compliance with the Copyright Laws.  

 


Church Secretary, Vacant

 

 

 

Mary Arnold, Church Clerk, Pianist and Organist

Mary plays both the Piano and the Organ. She has served in the music ministry here for many years.

 


Donna Harris, Children's Choir and Secret Sisters

Donna started and directs our Children's Choir "The Praise Kids." It is always a joy when they bring their talents to the service.

Donna also started the "Secret Sister" organization. We would tell you  more but it is a secret.

Mark McMullen, Freedom Recovery Ministry

Mark serves as the Director of our Recovery Ministry. This group meets using the "Christian Twelve Steps" developed by Dr. Philip Popejoy of Ray County Christian Counseling Consultants. Mark over sees the groups and supervises the three other leaders. 

 


Sharron Rogers, Sunday School Superintendent

Sharron heads up our Sunday School department, overseeing the curriculum, ordering of materials, and coordinating the many volunteers. She also serves as our Financial Secretary and is soon to head up our new "Good Grief" ministry.

 


Billy Joe Hall, Treasurer

Deacon Hall handles the financial responsibilities here at First Baptist. That includes overseeing the finances of all of the ministries, including, Sharing the Word Radio Ministry, Midwest College of Biblical Studies, Whatcamacallit Youth Ministry and AWANA.

 


Ron Harris, Handyman for Christ

As a talented carpenter and craftsman, Ron was looking for a way to employ his skills in service to the Lord. He came up with the Handyman for Christ Program. Ron and other volunteers from the Church will go out and do work for those who may not be able to do it themselves or afford to hire it out.

 


Marty Pendleton, Freedom Recovery Ministry

Marty serves as a leader in our Recovery Ministry. This group meets using the "Christian Twelve Steps" developed by Dr. Philip Popejoy of Ray County Christian Counseling Consultants. 


Josh Finley, Building and Ground Maintenance

Josh brings his considerable mechanical skills to bear in service as the "go to guy" for all things maintenance.
